In the 1960’s the Dick Sherwood Band was a regular feature on the “Down Home Dairyland” show on WISC-TV, Channel 3 in Madison. The band performed a combination of bluegrass, country and polka numbers for a half hour every week.

Four decades later, the band is getting back together to for a reunion show at the Dry Bean Saloon on Sunday, August 2, starting at 2:00 pm.  Fans can enjoy the Dry Bean’s brunch buffet and enjoy the band, fronted by Dick Sherwood’s hot fiddle playing.

You can listen to some tracks from the TV show at the Dick Sherwood Band’s MySpace page.
