SWBMAI is planning a special 25th Anniversary event this coming Monday night, October 27th, at the Dry Bean Saloon, and we’d love it if you could drop on by:
  • Starting at 5:30 p.m., we’ll be gathering to honor and thank Lane Venden of Lane’s Lutherie and Sharon Manion for their generous donations of the stupendous raffle prizes we’ve been selling tickets for all year! There’ll be special goodies, and of course you can always treat yourself to dinner from the Dry Bean’s scrumptious menu.
  • As always, the Madison area’s biggest weekly bluegrass jam will begin at 6:30 sharp! It’s a terrific time, so don’t forget to bring your instrument.
  • Then, at 7:00 p.m., the moment you’ve been waiting for all year — the drawing of the two winners of our 25th Anniversary Raffle Prizes:
    • A gorgeous Batik Sampler Quilt, 78″x58″, made by Sharon Manion (a $500 value), or
    • A vintage German fiddle, with case and bow, from Lane’s Lutherie (a $600 value).

The first name drawn gets first choice of prize, the second name wins the remaining prize. You don’t have to be present to win — but wouldn’t it be much more exciting if you were?

Don’t have your raffle tickets yet? There’s still time! You can purchase them directly from any SWBMAI Board Member or buy them at the Dry Bean from 5:30 Monday night right up to the time of the drawing. Just $1 a ticket, or 6 tickets for $5. Proceeds go to help SWBMAI create more opportunities to listen to, learn about and play bluegrass music in Southern Wisconsin.

So don’t forget — the Dry Bean Saloon, 5264 Verona Road in Madison, Monday, October 27th, starting at 5:30 p.m. Come out and have a wonderful time!
